Post Number One

Well, I've decided to join in with a Blog at last, and now I have to decide what to say, lol!

I am in a strange place in my life at the moment, as I am out of work, and spending a lot of my time traveling back and forth to the UK, following my mother's death in September 2004. As the only surviving relative, it's been down to me to sort out things such as the will, probate, finances, and so on. All that's really left is to sell the house, although that's not an easy thing to do, as I lived there for nearly 20 years, and it holds a lot of memories.

At least the traveling has let me see friends, old and new, while I've been over there, and I have been also able to see the inside of lots of planes and airports! I used to enjoy traveling by plane - no more! I also seem to be in a permanent state of jetlag.

I'm currently planning my next trip, which will probably be in May, when I hope to get the house on the market finally. Unfortunately, that'll leave me with the problem of what to do with all the contents, as I really don't have room to bring them over here.


Another part of my life has been taken over recently by the online game World of Warcraft. It's my first time in such a game, and it's been a great deal of fun. I must be careful, though, as it might just take over my life completely if I'm not careful. I guess I need that job more than ever!
